In 2019, Bali accounted for nearly a fifth of Indonesia’s accommodation rooms across the entire country.
Additionally, in 2022, there were approximately eight million domestic tourists in Bali, showing a decrease compared to the 10.5 million domestic visitors in 2019. The island has been gradually reopening to both domestic and international tourists, but the pandemic continues to influence travel patterns.
