How many tourist are coming to Bali?

As of March 2023, 1.03 million international tourists visited Bali, which is a significant increase from the mere 51 foreign tourists in 2021. The decline in 2021 was due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, which severely affected the tourism sector on the island. Bali heavily relies on international tourism, and it has been the center of Indonesia’s tourism industry. In 2019, Bali accounted for nearly a fifth of Indonesia’s accommodation rooms across the entire country.

Additionally, in 2022, there were approximately eight million domestic tourists in Bali, showing a decrease compared to the 10.5 million domestic visitors in 2019. The island has been gradually reopening to both domestic and international tourists, but the pandemic continues to influence travel patterns.

Bali’s allure remains strong—a blend of lush landscapes, ancient temples, and warm beaches. Whether you’re a sunseeker, a culture enthusiast, or an adventure lover, Bali awaits with open arms! 🌴🌏🌞
